Better Business Bureau announces that Rachel Hews of Klamath Falls is the Oregon winner of the 2013 Students of Integrity Scholarship for $2,500.

“Which one of BBB’s Standards for Trust do you value most in businesses? Why?” In response to BBB’s question, Klamath Union High School student Rachel cited “Embody Integrity.”

“It [integrity] has the ability to bring down a country or build a company from nothing to one with leading market share,” says Hews. “Businesses that are successful surround themselves with people that emanate integrity.”

BBB serving Alaska, Oregon and Western Washington recognizes students who demonstrate an awareness of ethical marketplace practices. Year-round, local high school juniors and seniors submit entries to BBB for evaluation by volunteer judges from third-party community organizations.
